The Science Gallery is the local host to TEDx Dublin. This TEDx lineup includes talks about computer image recognition, basking sharks, and the quest to make the world's first non-drip teapot. Margaret will talk about the Crochet Reef Project, which opens in a major exhibition at the Science Gallery on March 19.

Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute - EMPAC

Margaret will give a talk about the IFF's work and Mathematics as Poetic Enchantment at RPI's spectacular new Electronic Music and Performing Arts Center. The lecture is accompanied by dinner and will be held in the EMPAC Cafe.

Margaret will present the 2010 Jessie Daniel Ames Lecture, Southwestern University's annual endowed lectureship on feminism. This year's JDA topic is feminism and craft. Margaret will speak about the Crochet Reef Project from a feminist perspective.
