This year&#8217;s theme is <em>Wonder and Curiosity: The Intersection of Art and Science.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday, March 1st, 9am-12noon,<\/strong> IFF Director Margret Wertheim will host a hands-on workshop to teach techniques for crocheting corals. Experienced crocheters and beginners are equally welcome. Hooks and yarns will be supplied.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/theiff.org\/current\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/CW-Crochet-hands.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-902\" src=\"http:\/\/theiff.org\/current\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/CW-Crochet-hands.jpg\" alt=\"Plastic bag crochet.\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" srcset=\"https:\/\/theiff.org\/current\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/CW-Crochet-hands.jpg 640w, https:\/\/theiff.org\/current\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/CW-Crochet-hands-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The workshop will help to launch the <em>University of Wisconsin, La Crosse School Reef,<\/em>\u00a0a campus-wide endeavor in which students, faculty and staff will construct their own crochet reef.
