Two years in the making, the exhibition centers around the IFF&#8217;s new <em>Crochet Coral Forest \u2013 <\/em>a\u00a0collection of six large, &#8216;snakey-armed sculptures&#8217; crocheted from yarn and plastic thread. Included also is an expanded collection of our miniature coral <em>Pod Worlds<\/em>, each a tiny fantastical landscape featuring works by some of the IFF&#8217;s most skilled crafters.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition also debuts the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/nyuad.nyu.edu\/en\/research\/nyuad-institute\/institute-programs\/AbuDhabi_Satellite-Reef.html\">NYU Abu Dhabi Satellite Reef<\/a><\/em>, the newest addition to the wooly archipelago of crochet reefs worldwide.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Exhibition dates:<\/strong> September 29 &#8211; December 4 @\u00a0NYUAD Institute, Sadiyatt Island, Abu Dhabi.
