Photos \u00a9 IFF Archive.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>On February 10, 2014, the IFF and friends made a field trip to Google&#8217;s<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>office in Venice, CA, to visit our exhibition there. Titled &#8220;Making Space&#8221;\u00a0the exhibit showcased works developed at the IFF during our\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/theiff.org\/exhibits\/making-space.html\">Making Space<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>mathematics and aesthetics\u00a0project in 2013. Included in\u00a0the Google show &#8211; which finished its run in late February 2014 &#8211;\u00a0were large-scale sculptures of business card origami, plus tiny beaded Platonic solids, geometric bamboo stick-things, and other enigmatic spatial structures. The pieces looked terrific in the Google space and we thank program manager Max Maxwell for spearheading Google Venice\u2019s innovative arts program. Works featured in the exhibition were by\u00a0<strong>Jake Dotson, Jesse Dotson, Christina Simons, David Orozco, Kathryn Harris, Corrine Cascioppo<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Margaret Wertheim<\/strong>.
